The CAMCooLER Rugged Mount 9Thirteen is a ruggedized strong professional grade mounting option for the GoPro HERO9 Black, HERO10 Black, HERO 11 Black, HERO 12 Black, and HERO13 Black cameras. It’s the same cooling fan as the 9Thirteen cooler, but instead of using the GoPro fingers that break around 190 pounds of force, the Rugged Mount uses a RAM Mounts system that doubles or triples the strength depending what material is selected. Designed for a racecar team that needed extra durability, this mounting system will be useful for other applications in Aviation, 4×4 off-roaders, Military contractors or anyone needing professional grade mounting system using RAM Mounts. Four available polymers to choose from to meet your application needs. (listed from least expensive to most expensive)

1. ASA: Acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (White or Black)Very similar to ABS but better UV resistance and weatherability
   • 103 °C Heat Deflection Temperature (ISO 75. 0.45MPA)
   • 362 lbs.: CAMCooLER’s Strength Pull-Out Test (GoPro fingers fail at 190 lbs.)
2. PET-GF: PET-GF (Polyethylene Terephthalate)
   • PET-GF is a high-performance composite made of PET reinforced with glass fibers, providing superior strength, stiffness, and heat resistance. This industrial-grade material excels in applications requiring high durability and stability under mechanical load or heat.Is it safe to handle? Yes. Glass-filled plastics are safe when intact, but avoid touching broken parts with bare hands, as sharp glass fibers can be exposed.
   • Enhanced Strength and Rigidity: Glass fiber reinforcement yields higher tensile strength and stiffness than standard ASA.
   • High Dimensional Stability: Reduced warping and shrinkage during cooling for precise parts.
   • Improved Heat Resistance: HDT around 99°C, up to 120°C with annealing. (our coolers are not annealed)
   • Low Moisture Absorption: Provides stable performance over time and consistent print quality.
   • Chemical and UV Resistance: Retains PET’s resistance to solvents, acids, and UV exposure.
   • Electrical Insulation: Non-conductive, unlike carbon fiber composites—ideal for electronic components.
3. PPA-CF: Polyphthalamide (Black Only) Premium Carbon fiber-reinforced nylon, delivers industrial-grade quality. Renowned for its exceptional mechanical properties and reliable performance in humid or high-temperature environments
   • Resistance to Acid Better than general Nylon; resistant to weak acids, but not resistant to strong acids
   • Resistance to Alkali Better than general Nylon; resistant to weak alkalis, but not resistant to strong alkalis
   • Resistance to Organic Solvent Better than general Nylon; resistant to most kinds of organic solvents
   • 227 °C Heat Deflection Temperature (ISO 75. 0.45MPA)
   • 706 lbs.: CAMCooLER’s Strength Pull-Out Test (GoPro fingers fail at 190 lbs.)
4. PPS-CF10: Polyphenylene sulfide (Black Only) Carbon fiber reinforced PPS (Polyphenylene sulfide) polymer.
   • Exceptional mechanical strength, high heat resistance, chemical resistance, V0 flame retardancy, and moisture insensitivity
   • Great choice for Aviation due to the V0 flame retardancy, self-extinguishing to non-burning
   • Extremely rigid but more brittle than PPA
   • 253 °C Heat Deflection Temperature (ISO 75. 0.45MPA)
   • 290 lbs.: CAMCooLER’s Strength Pull-Out Test (GoPro fingers fail at 190 lbs.)

• No USB wall chargers included: Our coolers don’t come with a wall USB charger since most people use a battery pack instead. The great news is that those old USB chargers you’ve got tucked away—too weak for today’s smartphones—work perfectly with our coolers because they need so little power.
• Anker Power Banks require "Trickle Charging Mode" to work with our cooling fans. Currently, there are no other known issues with power banks. Please see our recommendations here.
